Well we are halfway through winter, thank goodness. I can’t say  I am a great fan of this particular season, which is why every year my family escapes to somewhere warm for a week.IMG_3937

I would like you to create a new post on your page and explain your feelings about winter.

Are you a fan of winter?

Is there something your family does that is special in winter?

Do you play certain sports in winter?

What do you like the most about winter, or conversely, what do you dislike the most about it?

You might like to write a poem, a rap or find some other creative way to express your feelings. It would be great if you could add pictures of yourself that relate to this season.

  1. Hi! I’m Marcus, a Yr 8 from Papakaio School.

I’m not a fan of this season either. I hate waking up in the cold mornings to go to school and not being able to do much because of the cold. Luckily, I got to go on a holiday to the Philippines for a month and got to escape some of the cold, but still had to come back in the middle of winter.

  2. Hi room 5. My name is Jackie from Kawakawa primary school a year 6 student also I’m 10-years-old. I really like that you showed the picture of a winter snow from a tree. My question is maybe more things to put in?

  3. Hi, i’m Will from Papakaio School.

Do you like anything about winter, if not why don’t you try something like skiing or snowboarding, maybe take the class on a trip and ask them to participate in a winter activity.

I am good at skiing myself so I love winter.

  4. Hi my name is Alesia. I am from Kawakawa primary school. I am a year 7 student at Kawakawa primary. I really like winter and summer because the winter gives me some coldness to enjoy and the summer is nice and warm every day. I really like your picture of the winter snow tree. My question is why do you like winter.
